Gimbal Tips with Jeven Dovey

Learn some basics about gimbals and see what it's like to hang out all afternoon with Jeven Dovey, an inspiring filmmaker and YouTuber! I was beyond excited to get together for this collab video with Jeven Dovey. He was shooting his review of the new Zhiyun Weebill S gimbal on the Santa Monica Pier and asked me to come along and help out. (I ended up buying one of these for myself a month later)

The opportunity to hang out for a day and shoot was amazing. I learned so much about his process of shooting b-roll as well as some great tips he shares with us in this video about shooting with a gimbal. We also discuss the concept of mentoring and teaching, something Jeven and I are both passionate about. And as a total bonus, my boy Zach (LightningPiggy) got to hang out with us while we shot and came in handy as a model for us.
